But today sushi is one of the most expensive and most wanted food in the world. Filipino chef Angelito Araneta Jr. created the world's most expensive sushi which cost $4300. The recipe of the most expensive sushi

Japanese cuisine has been and is still very popular all over the world. No less popular are Japanese dishes in the Philippines. Chef Angelito Araneta Jr., from a restaurant in Manila called Karat-Chef, did an extraordinary thing and succeeded.

In order to prepare the most expensive sushi in the world, the following ingredients are needed: Japanese rice, muscovado sugar, the artesian water of 70-year ageing, 12-year-old balsamic vinegar from Italy, foie gras, Norwegian salmon, mango, pickled cucumber, crab meat, wild saffron and mayonnaise with butter.

But all these ingredients are not worth a tenth of the stated price of sushi. In order to make sushi truly precious, the chef added 12 rare gems found on Palawan and 4 large African diamonds, each weighing 0.2 carats. In addition, all sushi is wrapped with an edible gold foil of 24 carats.

The most expensive chopsticks for sushi
